Thanks so much! The children usually aren't so patient and bombard my husband with open arms and "hold me!" as soon as he walks through the door. This day, they both sat quietly looking out and I had to grab the camera. A special moment. Thank you again for your sweet comments, I'm glad this brought back feelings in others too.

This is a fine photo. THis brings back memories of long long ago for me. As my dad was a travelling salesman. I love the way they are together in their socks eagerly awaiting. I like the wood texture and the light on the doorway. This is really a fine emotional shot one of my favs of yours.
