About I love the intensity on the Afghan soldier's face. Side note: The little girl in green followed me for about 4 miles but as soon as I pointed my camera at her, she would take off running. Caption follows: Soldiers of 4th Battalion, 1st Brigade Artillery, Afghan National Army stand guard in front of a mosque that will serve as a polling place near a buzy intersection in Kandahar City. The soldiers and their American advisors were conducting a security patrol on October 5, 2004 in anticipation of the Afghan Presidential Election.
