ohhhh what a place, you are bringing the feeling to me through your lens with great success. your composition is interesting in that the buffalo are there but not as the only thing to absorb. More like an extra element to just make this photo all the more interesting for the observer

This photograph is peaceful. It has great natural form with the winding river through the landscape. I love the yellow tones of the yellowish prairie grass. The blue water looks slightly unnatural with too much saturation, but it doesn't look too out of place.
I'd love to see the full resolution of the image. I'm sure this small (even with large selected) size does not do it justice.

Magnificent Jim. I've only ever seen this sort of view in old Western movies. Fantastic to think you've seen it for real - wish I could have been there too. Den

A great scene, looks like it could be from a couple of hundred years ago. The meandering water and the nice contrast of the yellows and blues. Nice one Jim. Don.

Hey Jim,
Nice view with super colors. I've stood at that overlook several times and it's just a marvelous view of what Yellowstone is all about. I would like to go back with my digital equipment.

Stunning colours.. I love how the yellow and the blue really play off each other. Took me a minute to see the buffalo... they really blend into the landscape, looking like bushes or small trees. Really beautifully captured!
