Mary I should be there in 3 weeks, Just follow me ;-) The barn is dwarfed by the scale of things, and I supposed it was in some secret spot. However its right out in the open. Its just that photographers and thier filters fooled me. jimc

You learn the coolest things on this site! Hopefully I will find this barn when I go there in a few weeks.
I like the juxtaposition of the warm sunny barn against the cool mountains, but would also appreciate seeing this without the haze. However...if it takes waking up early...I probably won't be the one to shoot this early in the day. I'll depend on you to return and shoot it at sunrise!

Guess we will just have to get you an IR filter. that gets rid of the haze. I don't think I have seen them without some haze of some kind. Thats an interesting area. Nice picture. Don.

Lauire I was there 5 years before I ran into it. Type Moulton Barn in to a Google search engine. You will find out how famous it is. North of Moose Junction and the airport, turn right on Antelope flats road. a couple miles east it will be on your left. Not too many places give the directions.

One of the most beautiful places on earth! I do hope you will return there Jim - and bring back many images of the incredibly beautiful mountains. Those lakes are to die for. Linn

lovely comparison Jim between the foreground barn and the background mountains; it is a pity that you didn't have time to shot it early in the morning, I think that the result would be spectacular :-), so maybe next time (I will wait); regards Lukasz

Yes, early morning would be good.. I don't remember seeing a famous barn when I visited the Tetons....I do not remember this at all, and this is something I would stop for, maybe it's on the other side.
Beautiful place to visit, a place to see many times that's for sure. Nice image, Lori :)
