About Hi All, I am back ! This photo taken on my last falls trip out west and I think its in Climax Colorado (I think)

Here is the scoop ! I went into the hospital yesterday morning at 6:30 AM to the Cath lab at about 9:00 am, Up to my room at around noon. I had an angiogram, it showed two blockages, one 80 % the other 100& they installed two stints and sent me to my room. since i had stints I had to stay in the hospital till today.
Now isn't that something, I had a heart attack a while back and didn't even know it. I now have so much oxygenated blood I hardly have to breathe !!! Talk about moderen medicine.
sorry to bore you with this personal stuff, but i have been gone awhile and a lot of you knew it was medical.
thanks for you emails and prayers and thoughts !!
I am now certified OK, I even have the papers to prove it !!!

Dear Jim,

although I do not know you too well personally I feel that by viewing your portfolio here I understand the man you are.
I see a great fondness for all living things and a deep respect for nature.
your images are abundant with vibrant colours which tells me that you are positive/optimistic in your outlook of life.
I was sad to hear of your recent health issue but now much happier with the knoweledge that you are now better. You are an incredible man that pocesses great energy, energy of which has touched the lives of many (myself included!) with your words and views.

Regards

So glad to hear you are doing well after your little scare. Take care of yourself... I'm sure you'll see things in a whole new light (pardon the photography pun). P.S. It was nice to see your photos in the AVA Outdoor Photography book! :-) Happy Holidays, Jim.

Came out of hibernation to wish you well. We can argue about the merits of Nikon vs. Canon later. Be well, my friend. Hope to see your experienced eye on the nor'shore soon.
Peace, man.

Not to worry !! The worst part is having to lay still in bed for a few hours. that was the worst part of the whole thing. Otherwise its like in one day out the next. and do I feel good !!! Also I know where i am physically, before that it was just a guess.
Good luck
PS
I Still have to cool it a bit but its hard since i feel so good

Beatiful shot, nice and colorfull. I'm glad to hear you are doing ok, there's a chance my mom might need the same procedure you had so it's conforting to hear you were out of the hospital in no time and are recovering fast. I'll be praying for your recovery (if you're not 100% yet :).

Great to see you back, Jim! I've been away myself, and inquired in a comment a while ago if anyone knew how you were, and then I came to this shot! Great to hear everything turned out OK, and I'm sure you'll find a lot greater enjoyment in life now.
BTW, super shot of the building, great colours!
Dave.

Jim, super to hear you are back and well my friend. My mother had a serious heart attack almost two years to the day. Still struggles for breath but improving a little thankfully :-)

Love the photo, fabulous building, a window cleaner would make a fortune here ;-)

Best wishes,

Thanks for the query ! I am feeling great. I have more energy and get up and go than I have had for a long time. It amazing how they run you in one day and out the next. 25 years ago My mother went to Minneapolis and was there for several weeks. Now if they could cure the common cold. Hum, can't cure the common cold, can't make a perfect vacuum. I think God has a sense of humor, We can go to the Moon, fix a heart froom outside the body with a little plastic wire, talk all over the world with a little phone in our pockets, but no cure for the cold ;-)

Wow, awesome photo... I am extremely impressed with all of your photos. Sorry to hear about your misfortunes, that is always a scary thing. But it is great that you are doing okay. I am rather new here, it is nice to meet you.
I am buying a D70 tomorrow and all of your D70 photos just made me more sure of my decision. Thanks!

Patrick
