About In Duluth we have a park called Enger Park. located there is Enger Tower, high on a hill overlooking the city. There are flower beds galore. Today I took a ride to the park and photgraphed a few flowers and insects.
I call this a "Tower Flower " Cuz I don't know for sure what kind it is. Loks like a type of Iris, but why guess ?? Hand held, there were so many people there a tripod would have been a burden.

Jim Fantastic capture of this so pretty lily. The light is wonderful just lights it up and shines through it without losing any texture or depth of colour - wonderful

I think this is some kind of lily. The backlighting really makes this stand out. I like your change of pace. Don.

Wonderful floral shot, the lighting definately helps show the beauty and details of this flower. I like how you can see the depth of the stamen extending out - great angle and capture.

Super shot, Jim! Looks like an amaryllis-type-of-lily to me!!
The square format works well with this one.
Best regards, Chris
