Jim I been meaning to thank you for you tips.
I have found that the correct WB is so important and I believe that it has improved my images very much....well in many cases.
I'm still trying different things with it.
The park has been a zoo, they closed the top every time I have been there and there are so many people in the park viewing the elk bugling. I think I will stay away from there for awhile.

I would crop that tiny bit with the dark clouds off the top. Then I would sell it as a postcard/poster and make a million! It's beautiful!

Jim,
Excellent shot, I love the reflection and the colors. Also, you did a great job handling DOF. The last (and only) time I was there it was hazy every day. Very disappointing, but this makes me want to go back and try again!
