Jim your quality is premium.
Tack sharp, excellent dof and capturing the tree in such detail has added allot to this image. love the soft background.
I think I will sell my camera and just look at your pictures.
Awesome shot.

Hi Jim; this is really outstanding. In fact your wildlife images are virtually all of professional caliber. In this one, it may be just a common sparrow but the composition, colors, and exposure are perfect. The BG really sets this one off.

Thanks for comments on my Squaw Island long exposure. Re going to "Comments Only" on the "Describe You Photo" page, there are two small boxes to select or un-select "Ratings". The default seems to be "Ratings On", but you can check it to turn it off, ie to go to comments/critique only. I'm finding that I rather like it. Cheers. Craig

Stunning detail and colour. So vibrant. Such an adorable puffed up pose.

Jim, the lighting is perfect and the limbs form a natural frame. The light and gentle shadow, along with the bokeh, give an almost 3D dimension to the photograph. We love it! Rodney and Becky

Thank you for the Kind words, concerning the rating, If I knew how to turn it off I would. I only need to hear comments, that is what inspires me to go back out into the field and try harder and longer and smarter, using the tips I get here.

Absolutely beatuiful color...the detail again is excellent, one can see the many soft tones found on the breast feathers...and they look sooooo soft. Composition is great...just perfect...Gloria
