yes very green they are, when i was there i camped in the park on the prarie side and hiked all over, didnt even come close to seeing anything as beautiful as this shot. again wonderful, all mine are of dried up dirt in the forground and the odd mountians in the background, you should consider selling this to stock photography or selling prints, its a rare veiw of that majestic place... cant wait to see more of your mid west photography

I have been going out west for 7 years in a row now and have never seen the praries as green as they were this year. Normally its all brown. Thanks for your comments

wonderful badlands shot. great color and as you siad pastels... grass in the badlands is rare i would think, i didnt see much when i was there, that place is like another planet, prarie and more prarie and then all the sudden these mountains of wierd dried dirt.. very good image of badlands NP...

Great title Jim. Sure describes the shot which is a wonderful view. Rock formation is similar to that down the Fraser River canyon as you approach Vancouver by train. Thanks for educating us so much.
