Very picturesque place and good shot. * * * Why there is a contrast between warm tones of sky and cold blue tones of rocks and water between them?

Excellent photograph here. The natural eye that you have is not easy to find. Now, take natural talent and then keep adding hard work to it, know what you will get....Michael Jordan. Keep at it.

Yeah, you're right, Kenneth. That really dulls it down. This is one of those times when the idea sounds good until you see the actual results!
Thanks!

Steve, I actually did notice that but didn't say anything because it doesn't bother me at all. In fact, the brightness provides the white point for the image for a nice range of tones. The ND grad is perfectly placed. Any lower the wonderful detail in the rock would be lost. I toned that part down a bit here just to see what it would look like. I like the original better.

Thanks for the comments :)
Since no one else mentioned it, I should keep my mouth closed...but the one thing that bugs me is the brightness of the nearest open water. It should be darker, but I couldn't get the ND grad over it without ruining the rocks.

Lovely use of the wide angle Steve emphasising the lead in lines which focus attention on that sunset.

Fabulous shot! Definitely one of your best. Wonderful light, great composition, good sharpness. What more need I say? Perfection.
