About The backlit trees made a nice diagonal line, and the grassy slope caught the light... I prefer it in B&W. So here it is.

Well, John, it is a pretty horrible concrete jungle for the most part, but I have a fairly selective vision! This suburb is quite untypical. My daughter said it reminded her of parts of Los Angeles, and there are not many areas of Tokyo where you could say that!

Good morning Roger. Strange - I have abeen away for awhile and when I opened my friends foldern this B&W jsut jumped out. There is still a place for B& W ! You images continue to force me to adjust my expectations of what Japan and Tokyo must be like. More open space and greenery than I imagine. This is a compelling image in that regard. Keep up the good work - John B

wow!
That's really great, excellent contrasts that help the split the objects in the composition.
Really good, I like it

Great conversion to these wonderful mono tones in this composition Roger. I love the diagonal line to this parade of trees and the perspective has given excellent depth. Well done to you my friend. Cheers....Ray

Hi, Max. I always select "No sharpening" from Usefilm... this lens is one of the sharpest I possess! I was aiming at the effect of TRI-X with a red filter.

Very good camera and glasses :) I like the diagonal and the BW tones, the photo is very sharp, but I don't know if it's real or it's due to the UF extra USM, personally I must remember to select "None" when I upload an image :) Bye, Max
