for the nostrils, for some reason I like them *LOL* but I know for some they will not like such photographs.

Very very good "teacher of the day"! :)
Also the choice of N-1 is really good . You have contrasts anyway and a perfect and smooth modelling of the rocks on the top left.

Your images are exquisitely
complex both visually
and in meaning.
One observation. Photographers
often use a very low angle on
people for dramatic effect,
that's fine, however, just keep
in mind that shooting up a
person's nostrils is rarely
flattering.
