Nicely composed and a nice range of tones.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my work Carol. As you can see from my portfolio B+W landscapes are my preferred mode of expression. I am trying to get a feel for colour, but it is not a natural transition for me.

Thanks Toni, this is what I love to do. I am trying to learn new skills, but it is B+W landscape photography that really tugs at my heart.

Yet another excellent house shot. Like I've said millions of times before, your textures and tones are very impressive. I might try to adopt your composition technique....

Thanks Jeff. Many places like this around Collingwood. I always wonder if this house is the remnant of a shattered dream, or if the farm was really successful and the family simply moved to the more modern house nearby.

i agree with Rebecca about the tones dear Richard... you always manage to have a certain high quality and a rich range... that, along with these minimal compositions in the pics make them dramatic and i might add journalistic... like trying to saving them from Time... very nice work... emy :)

I don't know about "perfect" tones and contrast, but thanks for the compliment.

Hi Richard, Nice capture! Nice to get some shots before this type of scene is gone forever.
