Great shot, Keseph! I love the theme, and the strong contrasts, especially the apparent transparency of the hard hats. Great angle and lighting in this composition! Ina

Sammy - the arches...I don't know what it's called...from overworking the photo's brightness & contrast - I think. I was getting rid of some dust spots in the sky.

It's an asphalt paving machine, taken from down in a ditch with some tall grass in the foreground. there was a truck in front (to the right) of this machine, dumping into it while moving down the road...but I thought the whole shot was a little too much.

Great silhouettes and lighting. I think it's the light reflecting off of their hats that does it for me, also well balanced with the two at the top and the two at the bottom, nice interaction of the elements..great tones and composition, love the clarity...well done Keseph...Linda

Nice shot Kes!

What are the arches in the sky?
They add to the futuristic feel,
.. computer controlled machinery?

I think farm equipment operators
around here wear cowboy hats, but
I'll double check the next time I
am out in the fields.

Looks good, Keseph.
Just the perfect amount of light outlining the vitals! Love the perspective...looks intimidating.
I agree with Susie...award winning silhouette!

Hi Susie, glad you like it, thanks! I thought about that project, but was unsure if it had to be litterally "silhouettes AND abstracts", that is, both. I'll take your word for it!

:-)

Great b/w conversion Keseph. You should enter this in a project...silhouettes probably. It's got a good chance of an award IMO.
