A classic presentation of an earlier period of photography! Thoughtful indeed! The perspective is ideal and the sepia tones and details are just perfect. Best regards: Maxime

Looks wonderful in these lovely soft sepia tones. When I think first of the camera you are using and then the toning of this shot I think back to a point in my teens somewhere and the washing on the line at home. Nostalgic stuff my dear friend. Excellent work, keep them coming Kes. I'm still chasing my tail so I'll 'see' you again soon.......Cheers.....Ray

Hi Kes, The ever photogenic clothesline :) You did a great job reproducing the feel of a bygone era with this one Kes!
You are absolutely right about the feeling of home being associated with this kind of image. It must go back to when we were very young at home with our mothers. Maybe even helping to bring the wet clothes out to the line in a basket? These images evoke nice warm secure feelings.
Just a couple of weeks ago, I was driving along I90, towards Boston, all by myself, hundreds of miles from home. There is not a lot of great scenery along that stretch of road. But every now and then a farm house with clothes on a line can somehow make you feel that you are in a friendly place. Andre
