About It's amazing how quickly, your once vivid memories of an exceptional holiday, dissolve so rapidly!

This is Sacre Coeur in Monmartre, Paris.
A wonderfully atmospheric area, where generations of artists were inspired!

Taken with my ancient, very basic and heavy, zenit SLR camera

Thanks Rafi, I'm off to Nice (france) and just over the border, to Italy. Will be back, 11 Aug. (But I'll miss the local UF meeting! on 6Aug)

I've been thre quite a few times, Colin and I entirely agrre with Zeev's comment, adding that you once more convyed a concept in an excellent way via a photo. I hope your absence is to be a vacation and although I'll miss your comments, I have some good photos to look forward to.
Thank you for your kind, insightful comment on my "Tree-child."
Best regards,
Rafi

Someone is having an nightmare? LOL

Interesting image you've come up with.
Ancient cameras can be a lot of fun
can't they?

Good job,
Lori :)

Sorry, I was wrong, Francesco! you were right! It's two images, the sky is from a Notre Dame photo, taken on the same trip.

Sono spiacente,

Very well done, Colin! I like the effects you've created! The Zenit was certainly a great learning camera, though!

I'm glad you like this, Brandy.

I'm new to the strange world of photoshop, and this was only my fifth attempt for my portfolio.

It still takes me hours of refining to get a result. But it's great to know I'm inspiring you, and I'll certainly try and help, if you want to ask.

Regards

Colin

your very creative. I love this look.
I will get lots of ideas from you and if you dont mind might ask how you do some of it.
I add people to my friends list for reasons. one I have a friend from england so that interests me.
second I like your work and it is so time consuming to go through everyone so usally just pick the ones I like best and that way I have a list to work from.
