Great macro, I think the DOF is effective here. The abovementioned challenge would need a blend of two or three differently focussed images (or a macro with a smaller digicam sensor and wide angle). Nice abstract !

Sally,
This is a spectacular image, I love it.
Now here's a challenge for you. Using only the D70, take a macro of a dandelion seed head with all the fronds (both front and back) in sharp focus.
Regards.
Martin.

Great dandelion macro! This is incredibly close work! Love the composition and the detail. Again you've managed to retain the DOF nicely to ensure the core is kept sharp. Great shot!

They might be a nuisance in the garden, but dandelions have a million uses!
Good idea, well executed.

The next photo was a long time coming, but when it came it was worth the wait. Blows me away... Fantastic contrast of sharp and soft, bright and dark. AJ

Hi Eugen - the original wasn't in with this email. But don't worry - I'll have a go myself - see if i can't do something evil to a picture of my sister! Thank you!
