Looks like you caught him in a very relaxed moment, Tim! Great portrait in his own environment. Dave.

Hmmm. Yes, well, he doesn't exactly LOOK busy in this shot. Perhaps you caught him at an uncharacteristic moment? Love the foot--and the knee! (At least I assume it's a knee, not a stump on display... goodness, I wouldn't joke about it if I really thought that!)

Hi Manu, these interior shots are very challenging with the exposure settings. the shutter is slow @15 sec and the aperture often around 5.6. I am amazed at the D70's performance even under these conditions as I don't use a tripod they are all hand held. I shoot many images in rapid succession hoping to catch that moment that has honesty and focal sharpness at the same time. Often shooting up to 100 shots per portrait to get that one "good one". As to the color I shoot with the vivid setting on. From there on it is allot of Photoshop work getting things balanced out to the way that I feel works the best. Don't know if that helps at all.....but good luck.
Cheers, Tim

This "Artists of Hornby" collection just gets better and better...excellent portrait of Hornby, a real little community....must visit sometime.
I have just launched myself into the world of DSLR and purchased a D70. How do you manage to get your images so well balance on exposure and color?
Any help, if you don't mind, would be appreciated.
Manu
