This evening, I had the pleasure of going through your portfolio at leisure. What a visually beautiful trip -a visual feast for the eyes. I was literally transported to another part of the world, one I have always had a longing to see. Your place looks remote and tranquil, a perfect place to experience life to its fullest. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. It has been a real treat! Oh, I stopped at this photo because I got lost in its many layers and depth. I love the clouds reflected in the creek amid the rocks, reeds and twigs. Excellent shot!

I wonder if you slipped into these backwaters from the main body of the lake in a canoe , or if the trail goes along here where the photo was taken. in either case another painting waiting to happen jimc

I am not very skilled with a camera technically. The D70 is very forgiving for my lack of knowledge. All I did was set it up as aperture priority with spot metering. I then meter on the brightest part of the sky. What is amazing is the range it captures, unlike any camera I have had before.

Tim, can you tell me how did you measure the light here? Did you use spot system? regards Lukasz

Hi Dubravko, I didn't use any filters on this shot. But i would like to get a ND grad filter soon. It would really help with the skies. Although the D70 seems to have an amazing range in tonal capacity.

Great landscape, a beautiful light, a magnificent sky. I appreciate the purity of the environment, I tried to shoot in romania some mountain river landscape but I found no place without garbage...
Kind regards,
Florin
