Vivid colour I like it, as my friend Hugo arrived before his suggestions suits me too, you should crop the eye and leave the fish, am just kidding SIS, I think if you cropped the outer part will look nicer, IMHO. Saeed

jorg friend is so wise!!!
Thanx for the suggestion!
its definitely worth trying!
i tried adjusting the colors, was what you had in mind something similar to this?
or even more earthy red?

Jorg Reif   {K:16020} 4/10/2005
A friend of mine once talked about an "oceanic feeling" as something which is a sense of something all- embracing and a notion of all creating, all sheltering, all receiving power, I was reminded of this when I saw your fish eye picture, showing the ocean in an all-embracing and soft way - the earth here a contre point in texture but soft too in colour. A good picture of the world. If you want to view it or create it as an allegoric picture my suggestion would be to use a deeper red for the earth, worth trying?
Regards Jörg

A very nice effect, with wonderful colours, though I agree that a little cropping might improve it still further.

Hiii hugo! Welcome back! Im fine thanx for asking! That?s what I like about this lens! The curve is not too severe! I can use it as both fisheye and wide angle lens ;)
Heres a link to an image which I cropped out the curves
http://www.usefilm.com/image/756543.html

I wanted to get closer to the edge and take more of the rocks in the frame but the wind was strong and there was a risk of getting seawater on the lens and camera!
Im really happy u passed by!
Thanx for the comment

love the colors and the softness.. the lighting adds to the image and enhances the mood of the overall composition. I think I would have cropped out the fish eye vignetting.. although it is not that bad, it sort of distracts from the image.. nicely seen and captured... good work.

Hi Arwa, How have you been? Love the softness in this shot, as well as the contrast between the warm light in the foreground and the cool blue in the background. Great shot, very well executed. The fish eye vignetting is a (minor) thing; I think the shot would be at least as appealing if you had cropped / cloned it out. Definately something I have to attempt too, though. I love the softness of the sea and the almost translucent rocks.

Cheers,

Hugo
