Hi Alyssa! I waited for a sunny day and used a fast shutter! The camera was on a tripod, I pre-focused the lens (and then locked it) by sticking a wooden spoon in the water first and focusing on it. Then I took away the spoon and started dropping in dried peas. I had to take loads of photos before I got one right. To get the blueness in the water, the whitebalance was set to 'flourescent' - hope this helps! Sally

Superb abstract! I like the way you handled the corp. and the darkness at the left edges. Cheers Sally.

Hi Sally! I'm trying splashes at the moment and I'm failing miserably, so I've come back to look at images of those I know who've got it right! This one is surreal - and it was your "first"... AJ

This has inspired me to try a splash picture myself. The color and composition are really nice. I'm impressed with the timing it must take to have a capture like this. Excellent! Dwight

I am going upload more pics soon (14hrs) really enjoying this actually I may join as a donor so I can upload more. When You use flash to do this type of thing I can give you a tip I got from a professional:
The lower the amount of power used the better ability to freeze action. intresting A?

I don't know about a series, but I'm definately into watery pictures at the moment - it depends how many sunny mornings I get (I haven't mastered flash yet!). Thanks for your comment - are you going to upload some more pictures soon? Regards, Sally
