Congrats to your first attempt. I love these colors. The houses look a little mysterious by using this technique. Hope to see soon your 2nd attempt :)) Frank

Unfortunately it's suffering from wind! My present camera is not very IR sensitive - so the exposure was about 30 seconds long - which is why there is so much movement in the leaves - I'm wishing I hadn't given my D70 away now...

This is a great shot, love those brown tones on the foliage. Im a fan of infrared. The only thing im not so sure about is the big blurred out leaves in the centre of the pic just above the building, but on the whole... lovely stuff. :)

I have to agree with Janet - IR usually doesn't interest me but even the thumbnail of this picture grabbed my attention. It has an otherworldly quality. I really like the color. Nice work indeed.

Well I'm not ordinarily an IR fan but this dream-like scene has certainly got my attention. It sort of looks like it's snowed on the foliage but nowhere else. Sharpness and 3D effect is stunning and your composition is good too. Regards, Gary

Double WOW! This clarity via shooting through gelatin? I'm VERY impressed.
You made me laugh about a 'blurry result (with green trees).

Oops, I fibbed - I used the Ilford SFX IR filter. I tried the Cokin first - but the trees were still green, and I didn't have a holder - so I held it over the camera - and of course I got I blurry result (with green trees). So I used a small gelatin filter that I was going to cut up and put in my fish-eye, and just wedged it in the lens hood and it stayed put!
