If you have looked at my previous images it is obvious that I am a beginner. This was the second day I have had to really "get out" and take pictures. I set up in this spot after a fresh snow and was disappointed in the sky when the sun came up. I am learning that photography takes a lot of skill, patience, and some luck....this winter in Missouri has been unusually gray and dreary. Very frustrating for an aspiring nature photographer without a f/2.8 lens.
Thanks Phil. Going digital has helped me a lot. I enjoy the outdoors enough that even when things don't work out to get some good pictures, I can still shoot and not feel guilty. I find myself driving down the road and looking at things through a view finder and not the whole perspective at times. I think it annoys my wife, but it is what I need to do to develop my eye. Thanks for the compliments.
I know what you mean when you say it takes a lot of skill patience and some luck. I took up photography about a year ago and have been very frustrated with many images not coming out how I wanted. Every now and again a good image is captured which makes it all worth while. I am glad I took this up as a hobby, love it. Keep snapping you?ll get some great pictures which will make it all worth while. Good Luck Phil H
