About East of Dubois Wy,there is a lot of open country, with a ton of history. While driving along enjoying NOT being at work, this scene caught my eye ( the corner) and a frame jumped around it.
Do you ever have that happen ? You are looking at something, or someplace and bingo a frame appears composing the image ? ( the frame is in your mind )
anyway thats what happened.

It is so beautiful, Jim! I love both the way you composed it and the beautiful strong colours! Such wonderful mood and scene!

jim, very nice graphical composition using such distinctly different textures and colors. bushy bumpy grassland, flat harvested field, rolling hills, steep foothills. the saturation bump deifinitely makes it pop. beautiful vision.

take care,
tom

This is an excellent photo. There is a LOT to taken in with the pristine saturated foreground and the strong curves/lines that cut across the frame. I'd love to see the full resolution image, maybe even make it my desktop background for a while. :)

Jim, this is a wonderful landscape. The horses are so well placed in the foreground. Nice saturation. Don.

Chris

i moved the center slider on levels a bit to the right. Shots with the Nikon require the right slider to the left ( Nikon seems to underexpose 2/3rds of a stop) I could adjust on the camera but always use levels. The Conon is spot on. no little thin line running off to the right on the levels histogram.
Thats it just bumped the center slider a tad could have left it but i was using my work computer ( laptop) and wanted to be sure it was saturated enough.

I can relate to your experience, Jim! It's a great feeling! Hopefully I shall be out there again tomorrow, snapping away!
As for the shot, I just love the various layers of colours from foreground to background! Wonderful scene!
The colours are so vivid ~ do you tweak them in PS?
Best regards, Chris

Beautiful Jim,
Such a full image, so much to look at and it's all gorgeous. A wonderful blend of colors and textures. AND horses also.
I love the hills in the distance and the cool tone colors with the few glowing golds here and there.

The more I look at this one, the more I see in it. This is indeed a SPECTACULAR BEAUTY!!

Glad you didn't pass this one by!
Lori ;)
