Thank you for your kind comments. I am impressed with your professional credentials and your fine photographs. Retired, like you, my career was in the performing arts--in academe and the profession. Though far from as distinguished as your book, I have also published.
I will be alert for your postings and welcome your comments.
Regards
--george

Yep, it's a matter of degree, I guess. I subdued the background--especially the reflected windows--to a great degree. I even tried reducing the background to b&w and eliminating it completely. My solution was the compromise you see here. I thought the setting was useful. Thanks --george

This is the first time we meet on the pages of "Usefilm" Mr. Brown and unlike my usual habit I declined commenting on the last photo you posted, the first one I saw, as my eye was riveted to the colorful image of your "Don Q". I know that the colors are not your making, but catching them the way you did is a work of art all the same. You show your face on your page and I think this gives you the right to see mine. it is to be found on www.drspringmann.com side by side with some information concerning a psychoanalytic book I published recently with the non mental-health professional oalso in mind, a book you might or might not be interested in. Thank you for your comment on my "No tomorrow". The photo I posted is the only one I took, as I did not want to disturb the poor man's sleep. Regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi) Springmann
