He is cocky with all his fancy colors.
I do not know what they actually mean by struting. I remember very well when I was a child in India, these type of lizards were ubequitous. Their show off struts use to irritate the boys. We went arround slaughtering these lizards. Not these ones but slightly bigger ones of the same family.
