Great contrast in transport forms, but I agree with the various comments re sharpening. In the end I guess you probably need to vary the settings depending on where the image is to be presented - what might look good here may not be the best for a printed image etc. I'm also fighting the sharpness and contrast settings...

Thanks, Richard. I agree. Sharpening I always find to be a balancing act for sure. Based on UF comments, I have gradually scaled up the sharpening beyond my first instinct. Maybe it's time to tune it down. ;-) --g

This a very nice illustration of old and new transportation forms. If peak oil has indeed arrived, we may all be using true horsepower again! I really like your composition and the mild compression or telephoto effect. Personally, I would prefer to see the sharpening scaled back a little since all the forms seem to be outlined. Beautiful city scene!
