About Taken above Enis Montana. I have no idea how big this fire was, nor how far away it was. It was huge and far Thats as good as I can do. Hopefully this year the fire danger won't be as bad.

Fabulous - specially with the warm tones a la Spracklen :-))

Also hoping that your country will be spared from the devastating fires.

That was quite a fire. They sure look impressive with all the smoke but you know what is really going on. Getting about ready to take off aren't you Jim... Don.

Fabulous landscape photo Jim, I hope the fires stay away - we could send some rain from the UK. It has been raining cats and dogs for 2 days now - local flood alerts !!!

hey very cool shot... the warm tones in the foreground really make this photo inviting to look at. With all that space i feel there is room to breath.

Lori

No appologies needed, after all the photo sparked a memory, and one that is going to stick with you. Glad you were spared. My western trip ( each year in Sept) is always being changed to dodge fires. Altough I can't do anything about the ones that pop up in front of me like this one.

Hi Jim,
Gorgeous photograph, excellent color tones, just beautiful! Pleasing composition, I really like this one!

Fire danger: Horrible, last October with the horrible fires in California, we were evacuated, not a fun experience. I honestly did not think our house would be spared. But I was shocked that it did!!! I keep certain things in a couple of suitcases and ready to go at a moments notice. And bird carriers, dishes, food for them within easy reach!

Sorry, I really strayed from your beautiful image here! I especially like the golden highlights!!

Have a good day,
Lori :)

Horizon is a bit tilted so it feels weird, otherwise it is a very nice shot.
