About Another beautiful hamlet within 5 miles from my home. I'm constantly made aware of what a lovely part of the world I live in. It's a privilege to share it with you on the pages of Usefilm!
Best regards to all, Chris
Once again, please ignore the silly lens and film info ~ UF will no longer let me add my own details! WHY?!!!!! And why ask you to stipulate whether the picture is in colour or B&W?!!! Can we not tell by looking at it?!

Hi Chris, the lighting sure is fantastic. Very subtle and outstanding colours. The wide angle perspective is awesome. Gorgeous image... I know, Usually I'm more elaborate, but there's not much to add. Very good photo!

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Chris

Standards Spracklen - no-one else comes close to you with these English vil;ages. You certainly do live in a beautiful part of the world, and we all enjoy these images very much.

Two points on this one... I don't think the road pn the left, with the white poles adds to the composition, it pulls the eye off that very nice perspective of the two gable ends. Maybe a swing right just a tad to get the extreme end of the gate in shot plus a little more wisteria.

RThe second poit is the chimney on the first house. Was it so ugly that you needed to crop it out ;-)

Keep em coming.

Keith

Very nice and you most certainly captured the light.
Reminds me much of Cobble Stone by the master of lighting himself.
My complements.

Wonderful light. The low angle of the light is so nice to work with. Great shadow detail. Don. I am with you on the hoops that we have to jump through to upload a photo. Don.

Hi Linn,
Thanks for the kind comment. The only other wisteria shot I've taken is one that you've already commented on. Sadly, the season for it here is just coming to an end.
Have a great weekend!

Great image Chris. Love the wisteria (am I right?) Have you taken any images where the main object is this climbing shrub? Would love to see what you do with those colours :-)

Excellent photo - the perspective and the composition is really high class, and in combination with the low sun and the colors it make this outstanding!!!
