About It's been a strange sort of day!!

Visited one of my members who (I was told) was 90 today. I bought her flowers and made her a unique 'Sprackards' card, then went and delivered it?

Turns out it's next week!!!

Had lunch with three other ministers as one of them is leaving on Sunday for a job in Norway ~ we shall miss him.

Then had a 'Christians Together' meeting which, frankly, I found difficult.

So, made sure I found some time this evening to work on a few pic's?

Took this sundial yesterday at the gardens I visited with Henry, my great Nikonian friend.

I threw the kitchen sink at it and quite like the end result. Probably the most significant filter I used along the way was a -35 measure of 'twirl' to give the sundial this distorted look and also to bend the grass a bit.

I hope you like it!!

Best regards to all,

Chris

9megs?? Wow! That might just get stuck somewhere across Africa and not reach me! :-) I think my service provider could only about 4megs easily. Do you want to try it?
raglin@ragdoll.co.za
But best would be to send a test email first and see whether your provider and my provider will talk to each other? Remember it bounced a couple of months ago?

Hello again Linn,
If you're serious, you can have it!
Let me have an e-mail address I can send it to and I'll attach the full-res file. It's a big one though ~ around 9 MB!!
Best regards, Chris

Hey hey hey! This I like a LOT! Chris, glad to see you also get carried away with the filters and effects - I have a problem in that when I start, I just can't stop!

Beautiful piece of art - would look lovely framed on MY wall!

Excellent work Chris - this looked to be promising even from the thumbnail .... not disappointed with the full version :-)

Nice work, Chris - has a very pleasing painting-like quality to it.

I discovered this site just today. Thanks for "welcoming" me by leaving the first comment on my first upload.

Chris
thanks for the information, I though maybe it was torqued to compensate for Daylight savings time here in the U.S.
OH Why do I always get off track.
The image is very nice, again its about your appraoch to colors and composition that make me like your images.

That meeting did THIS TO YOU? LOL

Glad you mentioned the twirl filter, now we know the dial really will work right! :)

You're making up for the boring meeting by experimenting and having FUN!

You did come up with a very different image this time! Most unusual frame also!!

You know what would really look COOL? Make that front/center corner protrude right out of the frame!!! It would be really 3D looking!

Good job,
Lori :)
