About This is the Kawagoe Festival, where various groups (I counted five) of, er, mature ladies danced in the streets. I trust none of them sting like bees. My 35mm lens does quite well against the light, doesn't it!

Roger, you are much too productive with your "Take-A-Walk-With-Roger" project, I cannot follow with my comments. So I take this one as my favourite of the last ten or so. Nice colours, vivid, fits well to the journalistic character of the shots.

Yes, David, I loved the shadows, and I left the crop as it was to give a bit more breathing room above the ladies to match the shadows in the extensive foreground area. As I said in another reply, I do have some panorama-camera shots (Fuji's version of Hasseblad Xpan) and I'll wait to see how those turn out. I'm so busy it's hard to find the time to scan the negs. Hi Roger
I love your images of life in Japan.
I just get the feeling your not letting yourself get too close to the action.
Maybe its that t/rusty old Bessar your using :)
I have included a cropped shot here.
The first thing my eyes locked onto were the amazing shadows.

Keith, I had my TX-1 with me, and the film has just been developed. I think I'll find a pano treatment of this same subject in the roll, and will wait for that...

Sharp and colourful, Roger, a nice composition.
Kind regards, Chris
P.S. Looks like it may be leaning a degree or two to the right?

Not only the backlit factor, you achieved a wonderfull color and brightness balance between the extreme contrasts. Congratulations, excellent work. Rob.
