About This is a favourite spot on my walks with the dog. I see a wide variety of people pass by along the footpath atop the levee.

Lovely to hear from you again, Margaret. Hope we'll be seeing more from you again, too.

Looks a lovely spot indeed, what great natural framing of the trees to then come out in the sunlight and highlight the runner

Thank you, Cessy. I'm thinking that the collage may take a long time to prepare as I only take photos here every now and again. It might be interesting to include different seasons (we DO get snow sometimes, and then there's spring with nice bright greens... and the bare branches of winter, the autumn colours...). Hmmm. The more I think about it the more I like the idea. Maybe in a year or so?

Thank you, Chris. Of course I had to turn the saturation down quite a bit to get that red looking halfway natural. No, really!

Perfect catch, Roger.
The red really is outstanding!
Best regards, Chris

Thanks for dropping by, Danny. I've noticed your name on Kevin's and Colin's pages... But believe me, there are a LOT more people to the square mile here than in the North of England! I must have waited all of two or three minutes for someone in red! Sometimes there are as many as three or four people, at least two with dogs, crossing this opening at the same time! I've thought of making a collage of them...

Thanks, Susie. Kuu Chan (our Shetland Sheepdog) is more into smells than views. We have a good understanding. I let him smell all he wants, and he lets me take pictures all I want. We both wait patiently and don't yank each other*s chain.

What a nice pop of color at the end of this beautiful path. Looks like you caught him perfectly in mid stride. Nice place to walk...I bet your dog loves it!
