Thanks, Jorge. I'm too busy to take photos and post them right now, so I appreciate the occasional comment on ones I have already posted. When I am less busy I will visit your portfolio, which I see has some interesting architectural shots.

Glad you liked it. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out.
Hmmm. Widelux 150? You really want to go to MF? I would have thought a Noblex 35mm or even (given a modicum of good luck) one of the Russian Horizon swing-lens cameras... The Widelux is nice, too, but rather temperamental and now (I understnad) difficult to get serviced.
Let me know when you're off to India and I'll tell my friend you're going and give you his address.

Beautiful, this is a tremendous image. I have grown to love panoramas, so much so I almost bought a Widelux 150 this last weekend .... but I've got another trip to India coming up and need to hold onto the cash right now.

I'm with you on this one Roger!! If you cloned out the corners you'd lose something of the perspective IMHO. I think we can be a little narrow-minded sometimes regarding 'distractions to the eye'! The two corners certainly attract the viewer's attention but, if looked at objectively, merely serve to set the boundaries for the pond. i.e. Nice shot Rog! Kind regards, Chris P.S. I think I'm going to stop giving ratings as I feel the whole 'rating' idea has got a bit silly. (But that's just me!)

Thank you, Hugo. I don't know what the curved thing is underwater. I only noticed it in the photo, not when I was there. I leave developing to Fuji. I have a LOT more Widelux images on www.pgallery.net/rogerama. This camera rather takes a back seat since I got my Fuji TX-1... although it's unbeatable for really wide-angle coverage (how about 140 degrees?).
I prefer to avoid cloning things out. I'd usually much prefer them look as they really were rather than force them to comply with my idea of what they SHOULD look like. [grin]

Beautiful crisp landscape, Roger! The mirror like reflection is perfect. what's that curved structure under water? a guiding rail for boats?
I love the panoramic view. Very interesting.... Did you develop the colour negative film yourself? Or did you have it developed. Can't quite make it out from your description.
PS: Searching on Google for an image on the Widelux camera, I came across another one of your photos on:
http://www.fujirangefinder.com/document.php?id=584. Cool!
One minor thing; I would probably clone out the two lower corners of the shot, as I find them slightly distracting.... Cheers,
Hugo
