Thank you Kshitz. I tried leaving comments on two of your paintings with light abstractions, but could not upload to your Usefilm page. If the poetry project is yours, you may use the Bay Roots image. Regards, Mister Ken

Thank you Kshitz for your comment. I had not noticed the old man in the tree, but when I visit this area below my home I sometimes get a feeling that I'm not alone. Now I know why! What is the Poetry in Pictures project? If it is your project and you'd like to use my photograph, you may. Regards, Mister Ken

Hi Ken.. A nice picture. I dont know if you noticed this, but i kinda like looking at optical illusions. At the very first instance that I saw the picture a saw an optical illusion of a thirsty person wanting to drink water. Metaphorically speaking the patches on his face show the pain he is in ( due to his thirst).. also his hair is all messed up ... Look at the attached picture if you can still not figure out why....I am a designer so i look at such things. Lemme know if you agree! This could well go into the Poetry in pictures project!
Nice picture though!

It very majestic old tree and I think it's fantastic place.I adore such kind of wildness. But it's too much details and everything is equally sharp. It seems to be dark place, but some light or shadow...I'd like to see it in colors too.Maybe this black frame confuses me...too active frame this time.
Thanks for kind words!

Thanks for the idea Altaf. I make frequent visits to the creek by this tree and shall go for a longer exposure next time...think I'll take a tripod with me, though. - Mister Ken

I liked the perverted sense of humor with the caption :)
I think it does well as an image but it may have done nicer if you had let the exposure run longer with an neutral density filter. It would have helped to eliminate the junk floating in the water.

Very nice, Ken. Very subtle toning, strong lines and texture. The moving water adds a textural contrast to the gnarled tree details. Good work! Tim
