The items in the fish bowl are mostly dust collectors placed together in a fish bowl and forgotten. After seeing an exhibition of 16th and 17th century paintings, I retrieved the bowl and attempted to recreate the pallet of colors that I suspect dominated the masters' paintings because one major source of lighting was candles. This is from one of those efforts. The light source here is a 50 watt incandescent light bulb suspended above the fish bowl.
Very nice still life Ken with interresting details, but the lightsorce comming from above is giving a bit of to direct lighting. The left side of the image is a bit underexposed. The one light from above you better should have placed a bit more to the right ore left with on the opposit side a reflecting screen with gold color on it to behold the beautiful warm colors and lighting wich is pressent in this shot. Sorry that I overlooked the photo you did submit with the truck cloned out in your "Conwy Castle" image. Thank you very much for your comments. The photo "Play at Fighting" I did take without a tripod, but I almost always use a monopod while photographing with bigger lenses....Best regards Harry
