Greetings, Donald, I like these old abandoned building shots. Good job on this one. My suggestions: break off that limb that is stinking into the picture from that tree on the left and shot this in b&w. I think the tree itself lends some depth to the shot, so would leave it in. Jimmy P.S. I'm just northeast of Monroe - almost in Morehouse Parish.
sandras' right, donald try earlier in the morning or with a partly cloudy day, you know blue skies with white puffy clouds shot in vertical format. or a foggy gloomy day. it's stil a very good shot.
Hi Donald, Thanks for the info about the Chevrolet Pickup, I think you're right, when I took the photo, I checked the licence, I just remembered 19X9, so I thought it might be 1959, I didn't recognize this pickup is that old, it's in excellent condition. When I look at your Old House photo, I do have a strong feeling of cold and lonely, so you have made it. A great shot, well done ...... Continue to upload more photos! Congrats, MCHK2000
Greeting Donald, I like shots of these old building, if only they could talk what a story they would tell, My suggestions would be to change you angle a bit and avoid the trees on the left they tend to distract and draw my eye to the left from your subject, Might consider shoting at different times of day. The play of sun and showdows can help add a dramatic feel to the buildings. The flat white of the sky seem to be working against you. Best Regards, Sandra
