A belated welcome to Usefilm, Donald. I like this photo. That could almost pass for a rain forest. It looks so lush with those deep greens. I see no one explained the jpeg thing to you. Here is my explanation in a nutshell: The more a photo is jpeg compressed the more it loses in detail. Right clicking on this one and reading the properties shows it has been compressed to 37.9kb. Your photo is posted as a 480x640 pixel size, which is a good size for viewing but you should probably set the jpeg compression to around 80 to 90kb. Usefilm allows 300kb for uploads and that's o.k. for folks that have broadband service(like me), but for dial-up service that size file takes awhile to download. I was uploading at just under 300k but after loooking at my portfolio on a dial-up system, I went down to just under 100kb.
Hope this helps,
Jimmy

Wow..such big tall green trees!!! I like... Thank you for the comment on 4H bareback riders. No they were not all American Indian they had little wigs on they are from Idaho and we really do not have a large mixture of people here its mostly white. The group stives for safety and oneness with their horses and thats what really shinned thru to me. Welcome to Usefilm it is a great place and I am learning a ton here.

To me it is lovely this way.
Very calm, and the light so beautifully catched!
Congrats.

Could someone explain the "compression" problem.
Sorry, I don't understand...
Thanks

I like it. I like the soft focus and how it is a bit dark, but that is where my taste runs.
