Shot with no filtration, on tripod, shortly after sundown. One thing that happened here was right after I put away all my gear, fireworks started to come out from behind the castle. I raced to set up my stuff, but of course, when I was ready to shoot, the fireworks were already over. Location: San Marino.
Incredible image. I've been there, but don't have anything like this even close!!!!! Bravo. Fabulous view and timing. Best advertisment image for this little but gorgeous country.
All the lights make the picture looks really warm. and what john was trying to say is that it's a good composition (I think), in which I absolutely agree with john. Great photo again
what a wonderful postcard this would make! i would buy one in a jiffy. perfect framing. if the castle were any more to the right there might be lights showing or just blackness on the left side, and that would be distracting. so good choice in framage (is that a word? probably not...). beautiful colors as well. how long was the exposure?
