I agree with Matt -- the lines don't detract at all. They simply lend a more casual feel to the portrait, which is good.

Forget the lines - this is a very nice portrait. The natural pose and the model's obvious comfort with you and your camera makes for a captivating image. You could always touch-up the lines if they bother you, but true portraiture is about people, and people are no more interesting than when they are being themselves. Nothing will ruin a portrait faster than an a forced pose. Go girl!

Hi Julia! The portrait is beautiful. The only nit picking thing is the lines on her face that Joe pointed out. Other than that it is great! :)

standard advice would be to not have your friend actually touching her face to avoid the lines seen next her little finger. on a side note , please tell your friend she is absolutely stunning and has the most warm & inviting eyes i have seen in ages. you would do well to keep her as a model.
