again from the may 1 demonstrations in ankara. after the previous one, Saad said he wanted to see the demonstrators. So, here they are, in a photo where it is not seen who is who, as I'm sometimes worried for the safety of activists. Thanks for watching.
Shukran, Saad, yes, in some aspects we have relatively more freedom. What you tell about is horrible... Knowing that many people here could do the same, or would appreciate what is done in Baghdad... I think we should always demand more, demand the better, even in the worst conditions. But it is probably easier to say this than doing it, or living in it... Take care, stay well, zeynep
thank you so much Zeynep, in fact you have a lot of freedom in your country, just telling you one thing that I have read in local journal hanged in a stand about ten days ago,(I do not read any journal) at Baghdad the citizens of a big living quarter brought nine gay peoples and slain them publicly in front of all pedestrians, you have the right to blur the shot , thank you for the first replay, Saad.
Thank you so much Manolis. In fact the situation in Turkey is no better than what you say for Greece.. This photo is not a representative one, yes some people are still trying, like they do everywhere, but there is no real mobilization. I'm surprized at what you say about Greece, because the movements there have been a hope for many people here. There are still lots of stickers in the walls in my university, saying "Alexis you're my friend", and writings in the streets like "rising all around, atina all around"... regards with lots of hope :)
