Hi Ania, glad you liked this one. It has become one of my favorites so far. Just has a feeling I cannot describe. I like the DOF and the struggle of the cold wire and vivid but simple flower.
Be well, Stan

Thanks so much John, I appreciate the comment and observations of this capture. I was using a new used lens I got on Ebay for a birthday present to myself. I wanted a simple prime to use for some of my images. Have a great day, my best to you and be well, Stan

Impressive shot, the watcher must see much more here than JUST a flower, the metallic net somehow adds mood, sad mood, even on a so lovely and vivid flower, the contrast is strong, gives thoughts about prison, like somebody being in prison without a real reason,
Excellent focus into the center of the flower even with the net in frond...
best regards.

Thanks dear Jen, spoiling is a way of life around here. Glad you liked the flower capture. Thanks for the compliment. The eye has been in training since I have been on UF and I have seen so many wonderful captures. It makes a big difference to see so many POV's and such great work by others.
You get Sunday first so warn it about me.

Wonderful idea of helping this flower as it was crying dear Stan:)) The contradiction of the beauty and wire always got my interest, you have an excellent eye for details!!
Its good to hear your grandsons are doing well, it must be such a joy to have them around you, hoping to be spoiled:))
Wishing you a great evening and joyful Sunday,
Big hugs Jenxx

Thanks Srna. I have been doing some fun things with the 4 1/2 old Kaden this morning. He is my helper and friend. the little one, Dawson , has become quite found of the breast. He has gained 3 pounds his first week. Learning to cry quite well and quite content most of the time. They are my blessings in life!! Thanks for all that you do in your support of my work and thoughts of my family. You are a wonderful person and I appreciate you very much!
Be well, Stan. P..S. Kisses and hugs back!

Thanks Dave, your comment reflected my thoughts as I was processing the image. The DOF really became apparent as I was cropping and sizing image. I liked the color and texture of the wire against the vibrant color of the Hollyhock.Have fun today!
Be well, Stan

Well seen and captured, Stan! Perfect focus on the flower behind the fence, and I like the contrast between the cold metal of the fence and the gorgeous colours and textures of the flower.

Good morning Mitra, I wanted to see what DOF would look like with the f3.2. I liked the fence around the flower. Thanks for the kind words for my day, off to work. Going to do a Senior picture session this afternoon.
