Very nice Dave,
These guys are fantastic looking. You got the colours nice and bold, as they should be.
We had a pair of these close by this spring, but they were very shy and hard to pin down for a good shot. Maybe next year.

Excellent shot Dave. Love the colours of these ducks. You have done it justice. It must have taken you ages to carve it out of wood! Just kidding.
Regards
Tony:)

Well done, Dave! You still have vibrant colours in this strong light. I find it interesting that there is a "water line" in the plumage. I guess there is no need to decorate the parts usually under water.

Very nice and especially since you could get this close. I always found them very skittish and hard to get close too. Background looks very good too, nice shot.

And the colors are indeed as bright as they should be for doing justice, Dave! The good sharpness allows to have a good look of the feather taxtures. Small pity about the tiny motion blurred parts. Some small overexposed areas on the white/baige part of the wing too, but the rest is captured very well.

Cheers!

Very good capture, David.
Probably the violet lines are some chromatic aberrations but here looks great!
Excellent!
