Hi Andre...yes...this castle was never ever attacked in it's day...it is not difficult, in walking around it, to see why! ;-)...Thank You for your comment...regards Rob

Hi Rob, strong castle. Big walls and little windows. They knew about security at this time. [6]

The Black and White suits the subject, Rob! I see that this is a closer view of the same castle you submitted previously. Perfectly balanced composition. I particularly like your selective use on colour, on the single "modern" element in the picture. I'm not sure about the necessity for dramatic skies, as suggested in previous comments (although I can understand this being a matter of personal taste?). There is (IMO) enough "character" in the textures and tones of the old stones of the castle and its rampart, the clear sky gives more relief to the castle outlines, and emphasises the depth of field. Excellent sharpness and clarity. Very neat presentation. ;-)) MH

Rob, the idea was good at all :) and you tryed nicely to present your idea, i appreciate it ... originality ? ok ... i really miss here some heavy dramatic sky (my opinion)... maybe you have to do better with layers in photoshop ;)
