I didn't realize that Canada had so many deserts! One in Osoyoos, BC ; a few in Sask that I managed to get out to in August, and also in Manitoba! Wow! I think that there is so much potential here if you can get back to this spot. This image though seems a little centre heavy with the flowers, with a lot of empty space around them. Not sure how close your lenses can get, but I think either some different framing or getting closer would improve this!
Nice colours in the grasses with the flowers though!
