Took this picture sme time ago and now I have changed contrast to make it sharper from the original. Since taking this, the buildings in background are piles of rotting lumber and the old cultivator is gone to the scrap yard for recycling. Wherever I go, I take my camera and look for old buildings to get on film before they go. Who knows. One day, a coffee book could be in the cards! Comments on composition etc. please and thanks!
No I have never used filters. After seeing my comments and other comments on other photographers, I should read up on them and experiment. I probably would not use filters on B/W buildings as I have always been drawn to black sketches of such topics.
I like this a lot - the old farm equipment is amazing.
Question: Do you ever use filters with your black and white photography? I am wondering if the sky wouldn't have been helped with a red filter ... can't decide.
A coffee table book would be wonderful - yours is a part of the world we don't see that much of.
I like this. I don't think anything needs changing--I don't imagine you can do anything about the dark in the bottom right corner? it seems to weight it down and draw my eye, but of course nothing is there. :)
