Wow Robin!! This REALLY works! The off center composition seems hypnotic even though horizontally it is centered. Hmmmm . . .I can't seem to criticize the horizontal centrality because, as I said, it just seems to work. Nicely Done! (Tying my shoes now)!

why not! i love the idea... very good clarity on the butterfly and the softness and colors of the background... you're good at ps too. butterfly stores would like this photo, the subject itself seems floating or gliding on the garden, very nice mood created, relaxing and peaceful...

Robin -- This is wonderful and what makes it so pleasing is that it is a rehabilitated image that otherwise would have hit the recycle bin. Good conservation and a great effect.

Had a lot of fun working with this one...originally headed for the trash bin but, started playing around and I liked the results. Guess that is why I (we?) have hundreds and hundreds of not so great images stored away...you just never know!

The colours and detail of the wings, the wonderful background... very much a 3-D effect, almost looks like the butterfly is on the lens itself... (big glass, big camera hey ;):)
