Thanks very much, Bob!
I'm new to this excellent site, but it's the first time I've had FOUR comments at once! I'm very chuffed!
To answer your question about the central image, "is it gold?". The answer's, no! It's a small metal candelabra (with the candle holders rubbed out). I got it a few years ago, (for about 5 quid), from the beautiful greek island of Kos. This is where I learned about their civilization from 3000 years ago. It's my abstract tribute, to this great heritage.
It's amazing what you can do in photoshop. I'm just starting to learn it!

Very interesting work, the "water mark" background enhances the whole composition, beautiful photo art work. Saeed

Thanks very much, Judi I was 50/50 whether to continue, as I had no feedback (or even views) and wondered if it was just me. I'm pleased you like it, as I took your advice onboard, and looked at feathering, etc.
Hope you feeling a bit less stressed now. Your presence on this site makes a big difference!

I agree with you, an ordinary photo straight from a dig. cam. becomes mostly much more views/comments then a photo at which you have worked hard. But nevertheless: don't give up. I like this photo very well, great work and well done. Congratulations. Ferdinand

Hello Marky,
Just seen your recent photos. You have a rusty...oops!
Of course I didn't mean yours, which, by the way, is superbly focused. I like the restricted depth of field (f2.8?), giving the tree background a watercolour effect. Now if it was only out of focus...
Cheers

Thanks Marky, marra! I appreciate it.
It seems the more work you do, the less views\comments you get.
Might try an upside down, badly focused, rusty bucket next time.
It'll probably get rave reviews!
Cheers
Colin
