About It's Saturday, 6.32 p.m., and I've just finished my talk for tomorrow morning's service!! (Heaves a huge sigh of relief!) It was tough to write, it'll be tough to preach and definitely tough to live!!

Here's a landscape version of the previous upload which obviously allows a greater breadth of view. I think, on balance, I marginally prefer this one ~ how about you?

I hope you're still enjoying the stroll! It's taking a while, isn't it?!! Thank you for all the kind comments so far!!

Best regards, Chris

Beautiful colors. The spot of red is the focal point. Great blue water. Don.

I "marginally" prefer this one over your previous version too. It's really a toss up. Both are great! We are enjoying your stroll. Larry

Hi Chris; a beautiful fall color shot. The colors are wonderful, but I also like the curves of the water. The person-- even though very small is an important part of this image-- gives perspective. I'll take a look at the vertical, but this one is very nice. Cheers. Craig

I like this view...as much as the other one. I love the colours of the trees..and the wondefull, dark lake... just enjoy the trip...to it's fullest. Now I'll take this view to my dreams..night! ;-) Be good tomorrow... it matters to lots of people... and to me...

Great capture! Either way it is a place to be. I think I like the other one a bit better though. It has a more majestic feel.

Another nice autumn scene with the river leading the eyes nicely in and through the photo :)

Yes, I definitely prefer this view. That touch of red on the right helps, as does the small apron of green. Then that blue reflection in the centre--it all makes for a happy balance. Thanks for your encouragement of my "toy camera" series.
