About A different shot of the flingoes, taken at full zoom. I quite like this as it has a wider spread of birds?

On the domestic front, all is well thanks to ma-in-law. What a trooper!! Five loads of washing, a ton of ironing AND a roast chicken dinner!!! Now I wonder what her mowing's like?

Hi Chris, just wandering through some of the stuff I missed over the last week or so - and this just leapt out as an absolutely amazing image. So different, so well composed and exposed. If I could hang any of your images on the wall this would be the one for me.

Fantastic, and from a Yorkshireman thats praise indeed ;-)

Quite exceptionally good, even among your shots, Chris. The disposition of the birds, the reflections, the play of light, the beautiful colours, the perfect exposure... Wow squared! In 3D, of course, with the reflections deep below the surface of the water, it would have been even better, if you can believe that!

Excellent Chris - don't push it though or it may just be the D70 that ends up in the oven ;-)

Geezzzz...even your flamingoes look better than ours! LOL

OK...I've been staring at this photo trying to figure out why it looks so darn good...other than the good optics and the good photographer of course!

There is absolutely no sky reflection, which really makes the birds colors pop right off the screen! Sunlight on the leaves, yet none on the birds, great lighting for them!!

Obviously, I like this photograph! I'm typing away as I analyze it.

That's it, no more raving for the moment!
EXCELLENT photo!
Lori :)
