You found the perfect balance between realistic photography and a purely painterly rendition.
It doesn't look compressed at all on my monitor.
I like how my eye travels through the image. It is refreshing, also, that my view starts on the right and ends up on the left in those beautiful callas. Quite a dynamic image!

Thanks everyone! Another one using the technique I've been working on, this time I added a soft texture overlay which is probably why Jorg thought it had compression noise. Looks much better in print.

Beautiful still life with flowers. Unfortunately a lot of compression noise at least on my screen. I often have that problem, too. But it can be seen that the original was fantastic. Thanks for sharing. Best regards Jorg
